Faith Isn’t Just for Sundays: How I Built My Business on God’s Timing
When people talk about success, they usually want the blueprint… the steps, the strategy, the secret. But what I’ve learned is this: real success is spiritual before it’s tactical. You can have all the right moves and still miss if your timing is off. And that’s why I don’t just move off ambition… I move off alignment.
Because faith isn’t just for Sundays.
Faith is how I built my business.
Faith is how I kept going when it didn’t make sense.
Faith is how I waited when I wanted to rush.
Faith is how I walked through doors I didn’t even knock on.
Trusting God’s Pace, Not My Pressure.
When I first started building my businesses, I had big dreams… but very little proof. No massive team, no million-dollar funding round, no blueprint handed down to me. Just a calling… and the kind of pressure that makes you question everything.
There were moments where I wanted to force things… rush the process, chase every opportunity, and outwork the struggle. But the truth is, what God has for you isn’t earned by stress… it’s accessed through surrender.
And that’s not weakness. That’s wisdom.
Because I’ve learned: God’s no is just as holy as His yes.
And His timing is always right… even when it doesn’t match your calendar.
Faith Is a Business Strategy.
I don’t separate my faith from my business… it’s the backbone of it. Every decision I make, every deal I step into, every client I serve… it’s covered in prayer, discernment, and obedience. I’ve passed up on “big” opportunities because the Spirit said “not yet.” And I’ve stepped into seemingly small moments that turned into major moves… because I was listening.
Faith keeps your character in check while your platform grows.
It reminds you who your Source is so you don’t get caught up in the success and forget the assignment.
It gives you peace when the numbers don’t add up, and patience when the breakthrough feels delayed.
Hustle can make things happen. But faith ensures what you build can last.
There’s a Difference Between Being Busy and Being Built.
The world will tell you that if you’re not constantly grinding, you’re falling behind. But I believe some of the most powerful seasons are the ones where God is developing you behind the scenes.
Not every season is for promotion. Some are for preparation.
I’ve gone through long stretches where it looked like nothing was happening but in those moments, God was building the internal foundation: the mindset, the endurance, the humility I’d need to carry the vision forward.
What I’m Building Now Is Bigger Than Me.
Mike Benoit Enterprises isn’t just about real estate.
Better Days Healthcare isn’t just about insurance.
These are vehicles for impact. Tools for legacy. Platforms where God gets the glory.
So if you’re in a season where things are moving slow, where the doors haven’t opened yet, or where you’re doubting whether it’s all worth it… do not quit… no matter what! Get quiet. Ask God what He’s saying in the delay. Trust that the same God who gave you the vision will also provide the provision in His perfect time.
Because when you build with faith, you’re not just chasing success… you’re fulfilling purpose.
